Transpara ranks mammograms by risk and flags areas that warrant extra attention. In a Dutch retrospective study of 42,236 mammograms, one radiologist using AI detected more clinically relevant cancers than two human readers combined, and more women were called back. The radiologist remains responsible for the assessment and follow-up.
AI factor
The model reads every mammogram the same way and points to abnormal patterns. The radiologist compares these signals with the images, medical history, and other examinations.
