Sensara — Living Pattern Monitoring
Self-learning sensors detect changes in the daily living patterns of independent-dwelling older adults, enabling care to respond earlier.
About
Sensara uses motion and other sensors in the home to learn an individual's personal living pattern. Deviations, such as less movement, different sleep behaviour, or a changed pattern of toilet visits, can prompt someone to make contact. Vilans describes living pattern monitoring as a scalable form of care technology. The system does not make a diagnosis: a care professional assesses the signals in their context.
AI factor
AI learns the ordinary living pattern and flags notable changes. Care professionals and relatives decide whether a signal is meaningful and which action is appropriate.
