LumineticsCore analyzes images of the retina in people with diabetes. The system delivers a result at the point of care: no referral needed, referral to an eye specialist, or insufficient image quality. This screening does not require an eye specialist to review each image afterward. It does not replace a complete eye examination, and its performance depends on well-captured images and use within the approved target group.
AI factor
The model performs a clearly bounded screening autonomously. This allows the test to take place in a general practice or diabetes clinic, while eye specialists focus on people who need further assessment.
