InferRead Lung CT.AI searches CT images for lung nodules, flags them, and measures features the radiologist can take into account in the assessment. The US FDA reviewed a current version via the 510(k) route. The system does not provide an independent diagnosis: the radiologist checks the markings, assesses the scan as a whole, and determines the next steps.
AI factor
A CT scan contains hundreds of images. The model can systematically work through them and order suspicious spots; the radiologist assesses whether a marking is medically relevant.
