The ARA is mounted behind a tractor and uses cameras to distinguish crops from weeds while driving. Small spray zones treat only the relevant spots, allowing significantly less treatment to be used in suitable crops compared to full-field spraying. Savings and control results must be measured per crop and under varying conditions.
AI factor
The farmer selects the crop, treatment, and target. Image recognition locates plants and controls individual spray nozzles; the operator monitors conditions, safety, and effectiveness.
